Well, i finally moved to Bellevue WA. Now taht i have all my stuff set up i can start uploading again. Here is stuff i did in early may, the real portfolio work and a new website will be up in the next week or so.
I decided it was time to really show off some industrial design skills. As a gun enthusiast i figured this was the best way to get practice and impress! 
Tron was arguable the most amazing visual movie ive ever seen, but certainly the most amazing and inspirational for me since… well, the original Tron. So in order to get this image that has been eating my brainmuscle for almost 2 weeks i decided to finally take a few hours and do it. but it was an experiment too, in making a very wide image. It is not finished in my mind because i feel like it needs something else, any ideas are welcome, but here is the cityscape/mattepainting, and the illustration i made it for

Apona is a former orphan turned rancher living on the Sioux Reservation in North Dakota. Never knowing her parents caused much turmoil in her heart, but on her 23rd birthday Apona made the decision to find the truth within herself and the world by departing on her spirit journey.
Raising cattle and sheep her whole life made her stronger than omst girls her age, and the men of the reservation who raised her taught her Chulukua martial arts , which she mastered faster than any man before her. The night prior to leaving the reservation Apona’s foster father gave her a photo of her parents, on the back “V.Donovan” written in smudged ink.
