What originally started out as my redesign of master chief in teh sketch phase ended up going a totally different direction. the idea that MAster Chief lugs around over a ton if thick, heavy, battle armor and still maintains speed and endurance was crazy to me. As such, I decided to give him something closer to what I could see as reality 500 years from now. That is when the idea hit me. Instead of going after such an iconic design I figured it was worth a shot to give the Marathon soldier a new look. Though I love the design, todays average/casual gamer probably wouldn’t care for it, as contemporary design sensibilities have drastically changed in the past decade and a half.
